2000 Ford F150 Radio Wiring Diagram

I have a 1998 Ford F-150 4X4 stretch cab. It has a AM/FM stereo cassette radio with controls for the remote CD. I desire to install a radio, with the same controls, out of a 2003 Ford Windstar. I did manage to get the ii rear radio plugs that fit the 03 Windstar radio. However, I demand the color codes for both plugs on the 98, as well equally the color codes for both plugs on the 03, and so I can claw up the radio. The 2 radios have the same faceplate, with cassette deck, but the two rear plugs are very very different. Tin can anyone out there help? Cheers, Zeke

from that you can tell which wiring harness you have and then you can buy the adapter harness so no splicing and dicing is neccessary.

why not just get aftermarket? i contemplated keepin with the OEM radio theme by going from a cassette to a stock cd histrion. information technology was very hard to come by the stock unit i wanted (major wear and tear was the problem), so i went downward to best buy and spent under $100 for a pioneer unit. yous volition get ameliorate audio and better features. best purchase will stock the harness yous will demand to hook up the aftermarket headunit. it takes near 5 minutes to wire up the adapter harness to the headunit harness and and then another 5 to plug er up and install. the pioneer unit matches the overall manufactory theme with light-green lighting and a black face. information technology looks like it could of come from the factory with this unit in the truck.
